What can go wrong with the assets PINGO shows and with swapping them.
Prices move fast
Crypto tokens can lose most or all of their value in hours. Small tokens with thin pools can swing on single trades. Past prices, charts and practice results say nothing certain about what comes next.
Tokenized stocks
- They are not shares. You hold a tracker certificate, a claim on the issuer, with no voting rights and no cash dividends.
- If the issuer fails, getting value back depends on its collateral and legal process, not on the company whose stock it tracks.
- The issuer can freeze token accounts, pause all transfers and move or burn tokens on Solana.
- Tokens trade around the clock while the stock market doesn't, so prices outside the session can drift and then jump.
- Pools are much smaller than for major tokens, so larger trades move the price more.
- Redeeming directly with the issuer is only for its onboarded customers.
- PINGO stops swaps of a tokenized stock while its issuer has paused it, after its token setup changes, and for a few hours around a dividend or split, when its multiplier changes.
Swaps
- A confirmed swap is final. Check the amounts in your wallet's own preview before you approve.
- The price can move between the quote and the swap, up to your slippage limit. A swap that would go past it fails, and the network fee is still charged.
- Routes run through Jupiter's program and third-party pools. A bug or an exploit in any of them can lose funds, and PINGO can't undo it.
- A route through an intermediate token can open a token account for it in your wallet. Its rent, about 0.0015 SOL, stays in your wallet until you close the account.
- PINGO's checks and simulation lower these risks. They can't remove them.
Fake tokens and scams
Anyone can create a token with any name. Check the mint address, never sign transactions from sites you reached through unknown tokens or messages, and remember that PINGO Exchange has no token.
Technology
Solana, the pools, Jupiter and the data services PINGO relies on can fail, be congested or have bugs. Wallet transactions can't be reversed once confirmed.
PINGO AI can be wrong
PINGO AI writes its answers with a language model. It can state a wrong fact with confidence or miss what matters to you. It doesn't know your situation, and it doesn't see live prices or your wallet. Check anything you plan to act on.
Practice isn't the real thing
Practice trading uses a simplified model. Real swaps can fill better or worse, fail, or cost more in network and pool fees. Read about swap fees
