How PINGO works,in plain terms.

What PINGO does today, what comes next, and what it doesn't do at all.

  • Your wallet signs every swap; PINGO holds no keys or funds
  • Every asset is listed by its mint address
  • Every price says where it comes from and when
  • Practice accounts and lessons stay in your browser
  • Fees are shown as their own line before you sign
  • PINGO Exchange has no token and no presale
  • 0.5%fee on swaps
  • 17assets, listed by mint
  • 30 secondsbetween price refreshes
  • $10,000practice cash to start

Who holds the money

You do. Markets, the Academy and practice trading use no money and no wallet. Your practice account and lesson progress are saved in this browser's storage, and clearing the site's data deletes them.

On the Swap page your own wallet signs and sends every transaction. PINGO's server holds no keys and no funds, and it can't move anything on your behalf. Before you sign, PINGO checks which programs the transaction calls, who signs it and where its fee goes, and simulates it against the current chain.

Where the numbers come from

  • Prices, price changes, liquidity, volume, market value and holder counts: Jupiter's token data, fetched by PINGO's server once every 30 seconds for every listed asset.
  • 24-hour lines: rebuilt from Jupiter's 24-hour, 6-hour, 1-hour and 5-minute changes, then extended with each new price while a page is open. Candlestick history needs a licensed source and comes later.
  • Pools and trade counts on asset pages: DexScreener, requested directly by your browser.
  • Swap routes and quotes: Jupiter's Swap API with Metis routing, requested by PINGO's server. Balances, simulations and confirmations: a Solana node, also through the server.
  • US market hours: worked out in your browser from the NYSE holiday calendar for 2026 and 2027.
  • Tokenized stock facts: Backed's public asset data and base prospectus, plus the token permissions read on Solana on 29 October 2026.

What PINGO lists

17 Solana tokens, each listed by its mint address. Copies with the same name or ticker exist for many of them, so PINGO never looks an asset up by its symbol.

Fees

  • Markets, lessons and practice trading are free.
  • Swaps carry a 0.5% fee taken in USDC or SOL inside the same transaction and shown before you sign. Jupiter adds no fee on the route PINGO uses. Network fees go to Solana and pool fees go to the pools, not to PINGO.

What PINGO doesn't offer

  • Real shares, options, forex, commodities, leverage or lending.
  • A PINGO token. There isn't one, and there is no presale.
  • Investment advice. The lessons explain how things work. They don't tell you what to buy or sell.

Regions

Tokenized stocks are hidden in the issuer's prohibited countries. Everything else on PINGO is open everywhere. See the list
